Fimar S.p.a. is an Italian company specialized in the design, manufacture and sale of machinery for professional catering. The history of Fimar began in 1974 with the opening of the company Lazzari-Tamburini, a small precision workshop working for third parties.
A few years later, in 1979, the idea of specializing in professional catering led to the creation of the first of a long production series of meat grinders, available to this day in a number of sizes, combined with a grater or, in its latest version, refrigerated. The equipment under the Fimar brand is made in Italy, designed for the needs of restaurants, butchers, bars, canteens, supermarkets and professional activities. Thus, thanks to the brilliant and bold idea of Oriano Tamburini, who now, together with his daughter Eleonora, heads the management of the Fimar group, the small family workshop became an international corporation.
Today, Fimar Group is a corporation that unites two large companies, Fimar and Forcar, under a single management that has been the same for 40 years. The corporation currently has 5 brands specialized in various professional sectors such as catering and hospitality.
Despite its remarkable growth, the company is still loyal to its original philosophy of designing, building, importing and distributing simple, reliable and solid products to allow all customers in every corner of the world easy and long-lasting use.
