To create INCA, SAMURA craftsmen drew inspiration from the traditions of the peoples of Central and South America. With a new generation of ceramic blade made of zirconium dioxide, SAMURA experts have once again proven their skills in recreating a classic concept using modern technologies. INCA blades are extremely resistant to oxidation and will retain their shape practically forever, without requiring maintenance! This is due to the fact that the material they are made of is in the top three of the most durable materials, along with diamond and corundum. (Following an ancient tradition, Samura uses only the best modern raw materials - snow-white zirconium dioxide, which is sintered at 2000 degrees Celsius for 48 hours, creating a single-crystal structure as hard as diamond.)
SAMURA KNIVES USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Rinse the knives with hot water and wipe them dry.
- Use the knives only on wooden or plastic cutting boards, never on glass boards (any steel blades can easily become dulled by glass).
- Never leave knives in the sink for a long time, as this can lead to deterioration of both the handle and the blade of the knife.
- We recommend that you clean the knives by hand using non-abrasive materials and wipe them dry. Using a dishwasher is not recommended.
- Handle the knives with care: dropping ceramic knives on a hard surface (such as kitchen tiles, marble, etc.) can cause the knife to break or even split.
- Minor chipping of the cutting edge of SAMURA ceramic knives during the first few months is acceptable and does not affect the cutting ability of the knives.
- Store the knives in a silicone-filled knife holder or other type of knife holder. Make sure that the blades do not come into contact with any metal objects.
- When cutting products with bones (meat, poultry, etc.), it is recommended to use the SAMURA cleaver. When cutting frozen food products, it is recommended to use a double-sided knife with a serrated blade SAMURA - the use of other types of knives may lead to damage to the knife. Do not use ceramic knives for cutting frozen food products, products with bones, pineapples, hard cheese and dry sausages.
