Dishwashers front loading (500x500) WUP-503 S CONCEPT+

Front-loading dishwasher, CONCEPT+ series, for 500x500 baskets, with rinse pump.

There are 2 main model variants available (with/without built-in softener (S)):

Each variant is available in 4 versions depending on the specific additional equipment, and all machines can be 50 or 60Hz:

1. Basic model: WUP-503 / WUP-503 S
2. Model with drain pump: WUP-503 B / WUP-503 S B (The dirty wash water is partially drained before rinsing, which allows: 1/Avoiding unnecessary waste of detergent by slower water contamination. 2/Reducing energy costs during the wash water heating phase by continuously regenerating the wash water.)
3. Model with detergent dispenser: WUP-503 D / WUP-503 S D
4. Model with drain pump and dispenser: WUP-503 B D / WUP-503 S B D

   Dispenser

• RINSE - Hydraulic rinse aid dispenser (for models with water pressure) or peristaltic (for models with rinse pump) - standard.
• FOR WASHING - Peristaltic detergent dispenser, included as a model version. (optional)

MAIN FEATURES BY TYPE

Intelligent softener (S)

• Built-in softener that provides continuous water softening. This allows the detergent and rinse aid to work at their full effect and significantly reduces limescale deposits in the machine.
• The user can easily refill the tank, and a sensor warns when the tank needs to be refilled.
• Intelligent regeneration that guarantees continuous washing. Regeneration is carried out completely automatically and imperceptibly for the customer. The water quality is always constant.

Rinse pump:

• Rinsing even at low mains pressure (1 bar).
• Water is drawn from the boiler by a booster pump and fed to the machine's rinse nozzles, ensuring an optimal and constant pressure.
• A system independent of mains pressure, thanks to the presence of the "Air Break", allows for lower water consumption and therefore lower energy consumption.
• The "Air Break" system prevents non-potable water contaminated with rinse aid, cleaning agents and food waste from flowing back into the water supply system.
• System with type A air brake check valve in accordance with EN 1717/WRAS regulations.
• The temperature of the water in the boiler is constant during rinsing, as this water is not mixed with cold mains water during the filling phase.
• Precise dosing of rinse aid with a constant water flow.

Thermostop:

• Starts the rinse when the rinse temperature required for a hygienic washing result and proper drying of the dishes is reached.
• The rinse cycle will be extended to a maximum time of ten minutes if the set rinse temperature is not reached.

Thermostatic filling:

• Speeds up the machine's setup time as the tank is filled with water preheated in the boiler, which is more powerful.

INTERFACE

• 2.8" TFT color display with backlight.
• Illuminated buttons and multi-colored START button that changes color depending on the machine's status.
• Color-coded status indicators.
• Display of operating parameters, such as tank and boiler temperature, or cycle time.
• Tank and boiler heater operation indicators.
• Self-diagnosis and error signaling.
• Timer function that allows the machine to turn on or off at a specified time.
• Energy saving mode (standby): Reduces energy consumption when the machine is not in use.
• User-selectable programs according to equipment use (glass, plates and bar), as well as machine-specific programs.

Technical menu (access via password):

• View of all electronics inputs and action on outputs to facilitate rapid problem detection.
• Change of operating parameters, such as heating temperatures, wash and rinse times and etc.

PROGRAMS:

Dishwasher programs

• Quick/gentle: 90s (2.3 l/cycle, wash temperature: 60ºC, rinse temperature: 85ºC)
• Standard: 120 sec. (2.6 l/cycle, wash temperature: 60ºC, rinse temperature: 85ºC)
• Intensive: 180 sec. (3 l/cycle, wash temperature: 60ºC, rinse temperature: 85ºC)
• Cutlery: 300 sec. (3 l/cycle, wash temperature: 65ºC, rinse temperature: 85ºC)

(3) For models with mains pressure (WUP-502), consumption may vary depending on the water supply pressure. Water consumption per cycle (at 2 bar pressure): 2.2/ 2.4/ 2.7/ 2.7 l/cycle

(4) For machines with the cold rinse option (C), the second rinse is performed with cold water, while without this option the rinse is performed with cold water by switching off the boiler heating element.

CONSTRUCTION DETAILS

• The sides of the washing chamber are partially double-lined.
• Stamped tank with slope for full drainage.
• Stamped basket guides.
• Upper and lower arms for washing and rinsing.

Door:

• Soundproof and heat-resistant double-lined door.
• Magnetic microswitch to stop the cycle in case of accidental door opening.

Double stage filtration system:

1. Polypropylene pump suction filter that blocks even the lightest dirt, protecting the wash pump. There is a blue indicator on the overflow or filter, depending on the model, which shows that it is part of the "color identification" concept.
2. The standard composite surface filters on the tank retain coarse dirt. The filter can be easily removed without disassembling the wash and rinse arms.

Dual-flow wash pumps:

• One inlet and two outlets, one for each arm, without the need for flow separation to avoid power loss and reduce noise.

Soft start:

• The cycle starts slowly and gradually increases to maximum speed to prevent light objects such as glassware and plates from falling.

Duo-KLIP (Wash/Rinse Arms):

• Combined wash and rinse arm on the same level, made of composite material (optionally available in stainless steel (X)), which prevents the two arms from interfering with each other.
• Low-friction arm and very low weight, allowing all the power supplied by the pump to be used for washing the dishes and not for rotating the arm.
• Arm wash and rinse openings designed with a specific geometry to reach the most inaccessible places. They spray water precisely, achieving 10% less water consumption, reducing electricity and chemical consumption and thus helping to minimize operating costs.
• Arm locking mechanism, facilitating assembly and disassembly for cleaning.

Machine self-cleaning programs: for models with drain pump (B) and softener (S).

• Self-cleaning: Self-cleaning and automatic draining reduce operator work and ensure machine maintenance.
• Draining: Automatic draining.
• Automatic filling: Self-cleaning program with automatic draining and filling.
